Samuel Wright
Unadilla -- Samuel wright, 72 died Sunday, June 23, 1968, at Fox Hospital.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, 2 p. m. at the Joyce Funeral Home, Unadilla, with Rev. Merton FitzGerald, pastor of the Unadilla Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Sidney.
Mr. Wright was born in the Town of Sidney, January 24, 1896, a son of Charles and Sarah (Salisbury) Wright. He married Jennie Dexter. He was a dairy farmer his entire life.
He is survived by his widow, at home, a son James, of Unadilla RD; two daughters, Isabelle Platt of Elmira, and Ruth Williams of Center Village, 22 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Elizabeth Vanderhue of Utica, Flossie Corey of Norwich and Bessie King of Binghamton; three brothers Guy Wright of Sidney, William Wright of Unadilla RD and Clarence of Symra (sic)
