Subject: [PEARSALL] Luther L. Pearsall, b. abt 1795 New York, d. 1870-1876 Walla Walla, Walla Walla, Washington
Here is where I stand with this man. I have much more on his
descendants.
There is reason to wonder if Luther and his family were Quakers, then
changed over to Latter Day Saints, and then changed to Reorganized
Church of Latter Day Saints.
There also seems to be some connection with the Abraham Adams family
who lived next door to them in 1850. Anybody know?
Luther Lawrence Pearsall

Several family histories say that Luther, Anna, Anna's mother, their
son William and his family, their daughter Laura Elizabeth and her
husband Abiel Goble traveled by wagon train to Walla Walla in 1864 with
100 other wagons. They left Marshall county, Kansas in the early
spring of 1864, perhaps due to Indian troubles.

Note:
Myrtle O. Goble, b. Sep 1894 in Illinois was the daughter of George R. Pearsall and Lydia Elizabeth Sand, but she did not marry Abiel F. Goble. For one thing Abiel F. Goble was born 12 Oct 1819 and died 5 May 1889 in Nez Perce county, Idaho. He couldn't have married her after his death.
Abiel did marry a Pearsall girl, but it was Laura Elizabeth Pearsall, daughter of Luther Lawrence Pearsall and Anna Van Wormer.
